On June 1st , Sichuan-Hiroshima Well-known Enterprises Symposium was held in the Japanese city Hiroshima. According to the government of Hiroshima, in order to promote economic exchanges and cooperation with Sichuan Province, the city specially set up a Sichuan- Hiroshima Economic Promotion Office in the end of May. Hiroshima will be invited to Sichuan to attend the 13th Western China International Fair (WCIF) in the September, 2012. Vice Governor Gan Lin and Hiroshima county Deputy Magistrate attended the meeting.

  On the symposium, more than 70 chiefs of enterprises and development zones, including provincial energy investment group, Chang Hong, Jiu Da Salt Industry, conducted a further communication of investment and project cooperation with well-known enterprise representatives, such as Kobelco Construction Machinery CO., LTD, Mazda and Mol –Logistics.

  Sichuan Bureau of Expo Affairs also separately signed a cooperation contract with Hiroshima credit vault, Japan Mountain Steel Corporation and Hiroshima Wing Company Limited.

  Vice Governor Gan Lin expressed his opinion on the symposium. He said Sichuan is accelerating economic development in western highlands construction with glorious achievements. Sichuan has become the economic development center and engine of western China. It is the fist choice for foreigners to invest in western China. We are looking forward to further practical cooperation and new achievements on the basis of cooperation between Sichuan Province and Hiroshima.
