    The  Attraction of Exhibitors of 120,000 Square Meters' Main Exhibition Has Fully

    Completed

    52 Countries and Regions Have Confirmed Their Participation, and Exhibitors From Domestic and

    Overseas Have Been More Than 4500

    Reporters have informed from the Secretariat of the Western China International Fair

("the WCIF") that the twelfth WCIF, which will be held from October 18-22 this year

has completed the attraction of exhibitors of 120,000 square meters' main exhibition

recently. Up to now, a total of 52 countries and regions have confirmed their participation, and

the number of exhibitors has been up to 4564. Comparing with the previous one, the number

of participating countries and regions of the current WCIF has increased by 8, the biggest of its

history. Both the number and the exhibition areas of the overseas enterprises have increased

by 10%, and the WCIF exhibition has shown its further improved international level.

    It is reported that the main exhibition area of the current WCIF has set up 6 halls,

including  Western Cooperation Hall, International Cooperation Hall, High-tech Hall, Electronic

Information Hall, Equipment Manufacturing Hall and Agricultural Hall etc, and there is a total

of 32 exhibition areas.As to the exhibition area, the enterprises outside the province and

overseas have accounted for 80.2%, 39.2% of which are from overseas. As to the number

of the exhibitors, the enterprises from outside the province and overseas are 3696, accounting

for 81%, of which 1962 are foreign enterprises, accounting for 43%. Among the registered

exhibitors, a total of 149 are from top 500 and multinational companies (including Samsung, Shell,

Dell, Foxconn, IBM, LG, Diageo, Pepsi, etc.), and the exhibition area is up to 12,460 square meters,

accounting for 10.4% of the main exhibition area.

    The exhibition halls of this Western Fair boast prominent features of internationalization 

and specialization. At present, the top three exhibition areas are International Cooperation Hall,

Electronic Information Hall, and Western Cooperation Hall. Among them, the International

Cooperation Hall covers 22,800 square meters, and is divided into Europe, America, Japan and

South Korea, ASEAN, South Asia, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and other countries, of which,

Japan and South Korea, ASEAN, South Asia and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions cover a

total exhibition area of 20,000 square meters. Pan-Asian international cooperation has been

further emboded; The Electronic Information Hall covers 21,800 square meters, and is divided

into IT technology, consumer electronics, electronic components, energy-saving technologies and military

    electronic exhibition. Samsung, Foxconn, Lenovo and other international well-known electronics

companies are participating actively; Western Cooperation Hall covers 20,000 square meters,

and is mainly divided into central and eastern provinces, the western region, Sichuan city (state), and

Kaohsiung, Taiwan World Trade Association exhibition and other achievements of the Decade of finance

for SMEs, focusing on cooperation of the east and west. The High-tech Hall covers 12,600

square meters, highlighting the transform of scientific and technological achievement; The Equipment

Manufacturing Hall covers 11,800 square meters, including China South Locomotive, Hamburg,

Germany Pavilion, Panzhihua Iron and Steel Group, Push and FAW, Geely, Tong Wei Group(vanadium and

titanium industries) and other large numbers of international and domestic equipment companies; The

Agricultural Hall covers 11,000 square meters, highlighting international alcoholic beverages, agricultural

materials, agricultural products, food and so on.

     In addition, to fully meet the exhibition will of the exhibitors, the present WCIF will also open up

20,000 square meters of outdoor exhibition area, mainly showing international energy-efficient buildings,

heavy equipment and International Touring Cars, and self driving tour, etc.At the same time, the

organizing committee of the WCIF is active in the work of collecting sub-exhibitions.With

the feedback opinion survey of the last WCIF, the current one initially identified four exhibitions,

including Wuhou shoes, rich Sammy home, Chengdu International Trade City, Wanguan Electrical to

continue to serve as the sub-exhibitions, and other new sub-exhibition setting work is still in progress.
