The Twelfth Western China International Fair will invite six procurement

agencies of the United Nations to participate and will focus on inviting

international buyers from the five Central Asian countries, West Asia, South

Asia, Europe and America. It is expected to invite 12,000 professional

visitors to enjoy this magnificence. Among them, the number of those main

buyers who have great procurement plans reaches 1000.

   Deputy Secretary-General of the Western Fair, Deputy Secretary of Sichuan

Expo Affairs Bureau Wu Xiankui has recently stressed at the national

conference on group unit liaison officers that the Western Fair will further

highlight the features of internationalization, professionalization and

marketization, and strive to achieve new breakthroughs in summit diplomacy

,new achievements on investment promotion, and new achievements on trade

cooperation.

    The main exhibition area will be held in Chengdu on 18 October.

    He pointed out that the Western China International Sourcing is one of

the major activities of the Western Fair and is co-held by the Ministry

of Commerce, United Nations Office for Project Services service and Sichuan

Provincial Government.

    To strengthen the docking of sourcing and supporting, the conference

will hold the United Nations Procurement Seminar and Sourcing Fair. At the

sane time, the conference will hold special matchmaking Council including

electronic information, high-tech, equipment manufacturing and

agricultural industries and so on in accordance with the professional

setting of the Western Fair museums.

    Deputy Secretary Genera of Western China International Fair, Deputy

Secretary of Sichuan Expo Affairs Bureau Wang Xiaoguang has focused on

introducing the related situations of the Twelfth Western Fair on

exhibition.

    He said that this Western Fair exhibition will take "leading the

international cooperation, expanding market space" as its theme, the main

exhibition will be held at the Chengdu New International Convention and

Exhibition Centre from October 18 to 22 this year with an exhibition area

of 12 million square meters.

    According to the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" and the key industries of

the new round western development, the advantaged industries of the western

region and market demand, the main exhibition area will set up six large

exhibition museums including west cooperation Museum, Museum of international

cooperation, high-tech museum, museum of electronic information, equipment

manufacturing Museum, agricultural industries museum.

    Among them, the international co-operation museums focus on exhibiting

the industries and products of Denmark, Iceland, Japan, Korea, the United

States and South Asian countries and the European Union exhibition, the

International Chamber of Commerce Archive and so on will be set up.

    The high-tech museum mainly shows international new energy technologies,

waste water treatment technology, biomedical and other high-tech industry's

latest technology products and technology.

    Electronic information museum focuses on exhibiting the latest technology

products and technology, display technology, triple play, 3D technology and

so on in international electronics companies.
